Sonnet to the Seventeenth Star

The Seventeenth Star of the Eastern sky
Shimmer brightly over the world so high
Having sit on the deadly Scorpion
Till the afternoon, since the early morn
With Mitra, the friend, as your ruler
Bestow upon me the worshipping power.
Sometimes in light pink, sometimes in dark blue
But more oft Purple as your true hue
Twinkle forever and sprinkle below
On my dry life, all colors in rainbow.
Bring with your smile a shine every night
Fill all my mind with your divine light.
The Seventeenth Star of the Eastern sky!!
O Seventeenth Star of the Eastern sky!!
